Flooring and Decks
2 Easy Steps
ArmorGuard® is easily applied in 2 steps; first clean the surfaces with ArmorGuard Cleaner, then roll apply or epoxy floor coat, that’s it!
Our epoxy is applied at 20 mils per coat and does not require a primer coat first or a sealer after. ArmorGuard leaves a semi gloss
finish and does not require a sealer
.

Save $$$$
Most other paints or coatings require 2 to 3 applications to get the recommended finish you require, this means more product is needed, extended down time and additional labor costs. ArmorGuard Floor Coating is applied in 1 application at 20 mils, thus saving you labor, down time and $$$$.

Don’t Be Fooled
Other Coatings or paints that claim to be 100 % solid and apply at 5, 10 or 15 mils may not necessarily be the truth. Coatings or paints that are mixed with solvents such as Acetone, MEK, etc. will out gas and breakdown when drying. Many times the Resin is 100% solid, but when mixed with their hardener is only 50% – 70% Solid, This means when you apply their coating at 10 mils the coating or paint will shrink leaving you 5 mils to 7 mils per application. ArmorGuard Coatings are 100% solid, and are solvent less, this means when you apply our coating in 1 application at 20 mils, you end up with 20 mils.

Do it ONCE
Once applied, ArmorGuard is not going anywhere; ArmorGuard has a 14,000 psi chemical bond strength and will etch itself into the surface up to ¼ inch. ArmorGuard Floor Coatings are a permanent solution to a never ending situation, why coat every 1, 3 or 5 years?
With our floor coating you can do it right, ONCE.

Full Protection
Most paints and coatings are very toxic and have a bad smell; even when dry they leave a residual smell that takes some time to air out, most commercial or industrial coatings require you to move out when being applied to avoid risk of exposure and require you to wear extensive safety garments and respirators. ArmorGuard Coatings are odorless, non-toxic and safe. There is no need to evacuate the area while applying or after application. We had an Air Quality Test done by OSHA, the result a 0.00% severity reading. ArmorGuard does not contain any toxic organic chemicals or heavy metals and is safe to you without any respirators.

The Secret
Other paints and coatings dry from the bottom up causing air bubbles, blisters and flaking. ArmorGuard dries from the top down preventing air bubbles, blisters or flakes from forming and when drying titanium flakes rise to the surface leaving a non-porous titanium shell, thus the word “ArmorGuard”.
ArmorGuard has a built in hard surface anti-microbial called “Microban” in its composition to resist the growth of algae, mold or fungi and is safe to use where food is stored or made.
ArmorGuard is non-porous so dirt and debris cannot be trapped in microscopic pockets causing stains. Cleaning is easily done with any soap and water or any approved safe cleaning agent. ArmorGuard is chemical and stain resistant to many common and highly toxic chemicals, read our Product Data Sheets for more information.

Indestructible Flooring
We have an industrial resin and hardener which is applied with fiberglass matting, making the floor surface almost indestructible. Large companies use this system often to reinforce floors that endure heavy machine traffic or impact pressure. This process is known as F.R.P (fiberglass reinforced polymer) and is becoming more and more popular in the construction industry with new builds and rebuilds. Click the F.R.P link for more info.

How Our System Works
How our System Works ArmorGuard Floor Coating System is applied in 3 simple steps.
Preparation - ArmorGuard Cleaner (IF NEEDED)

Step1: Protoseal
Muriatic acid and TSP has become a product of the past when you use ArmorGuard concrete cleaner. Muriatic acid creates a salt that causes many failures of other coatings because the salts were not removed properly.
The ArmorGuard cleaner is a revolutionary cleanser, which removes oils, fats, waxes and etches the concrete with no VOC's.
ArmorGuard concrete cleaner converts bad calcium hydroxide (chalky calcium) to the good calcium silicate, which is extremely hard and will bond with the concrete permanently. This also acts as a penetrating sealer which will stop contamination from coming to the surface such as hydrostatic pressure, blistering and other problems. Ask any chemist or engineer and they will tell you this is a form of crystallization which helps prevent vapor transmission.

Step2: Cleaner
Protoseal was designed to solve a problem...and that problem is...moisture! Moisture is the biggest problem coatings companies’ face today. Protoseal when applied to concrete and masonry products enters the pores, and expands to seal out moisture, allowing quicker coatings application. Also, when applied over newly poured concrete much quicker cure times are the results.
Greater than 50 to 70 percent reductions of cure times have been observed.
Unlike any other crystalline sealers on the market, Protoseal will not grow crystals and force coatings to delaminate as the others do. Protoseal is not a latex based paint sealer, or a Portland based cement. Protoseal is an amorphous colloidal silicate hybrid, and forms a semi flexible substance that binds deep within the matrix of the cement. Protoseal never dries or hardens completely, never washes out, and is permanent. Protoseal boasts the smallest particle size in the industry allowing much deeper penetration, just 4 to 5 nanometers, where standard sealers can only achieve 40 to 50 nanometers.
Because of this unique formulation, Protoseal can also
be used to force contaminants from concrete that would otherwise be trapped, only to rise and cause delaminating. Protoseal has proven very effective. Protoseal represents the most technologically advanced coatings preparation in the industry today. Protoseal is completely harmless and eco friendly. Protoseal has an endless shelf life.

Cracks, Leaks and Holes
Cracks, leaks and holes are not a problem we developed a Polymer Reinforced Trowel Mix that is 10 times stronger than concrete and will permanently seal those problem areas. Please contact us and we discuss your water problems and resolve your issues.

Common Questions – ANSWERED
1. How long does it last, and is it slippery?
ArmorGuard is a permanent coating and can be made slip resistant by adding quartz, silica sand or pumice to the top coat before application or casting after application.

2. On what surfaces can ArmorGuard be applied?
ArmorGuard will adhere to any surface (wood, block, stone, tile, concrete, steel, fiberglass), when surface preparation is complete.

3. What if I have heavy machines, will ArmorGuard crack?
With our FRP (Fiberglass Reinforced Polymer) process, ArmorGuard is almost indestructible, and will not crack...even with heavy machinery or impact.

4. We use chemicals in our shop, is that ok?
ArmorGuard is chemical and stain resistant. Our industrial grade coating will withstand up to 98% pure sulfuric acid and many other toxic chemicals, please read the physical data sheets for more info.

5. What is the dry time on your ArmorGuard floor coating?
24 hours

6. What if I have water run-off that puddles?
ArmorGuard is water tight. Standing water will not matter!

7. Do I have to leave the room or area where the coating is being applied?
No. ArmorGuard products are odorless, non-toxic and safe.

8. Can I add additional coats for more protection?
Yes, you can add an additional coat, before applying the second coat, scuff first coat with a 36 grit sand paper with a palm sander, then apply the second coat.
This will ensure a permanent bond.
